Personal Project Proposal 

     Since I wanted to base my project in the location of Ireland, I had thought a lot about what I wanted to do. Since I can remember I've been interested in derelict or old buildings that have been abandoned or generally forgotten. 

My initial plan was to look at ghost towns. I found a photographer by the name of Cathal McNaughton, who completed a project involving his personal travels to look at towns forgotten because of the euro meltdown, leaving thousands of developers bankrupt and projects half finished. 

The only potential danger of this project is the fact that it has been done before and it's not as personal as I would have hoped. I need to think about what I need to do to make it a personal project to me. 

Though Ireland itself is my home, would that be enough for the 'personal effect'?
